On May 8 I completed my Master's degree in social work along with a graduate certificate in gerontology. I will be taking my licensure exam this summer. My passion is in working with senior adults. I am currently working for Comfort Keepers, an agency that provides non-medical care for the elderly, enabling them to live independently in their own homes. My current work involves assessment of new clients and directing the marketing end of the business.
I am the oldest of three girls. Laurie is 23, just 16 months younger than me. She was married in September of last year and currently lives near Corbin with her husband, Kevin. Christina, my youngest sister, will be a senior in high school this fall and just started driving! My parents, Al and Mary, currently live in Somerset where my dad is a Pathologist and my mom caregives for Comfort Keepers and volunteers for Hospice.
I was born in Toledo, Ohio and didn't move to Kentucky until I was in sixth grade. My dad had always wanted to move to Kentucky, as this is where he was born. So, he enticed Laurie and me with the promise of horses .
My hobbies include singing, reading, picnicking in the park with Chris, interior design, and wedding coordination!
